What "we've worked with" does and doesn't mean
- ✅ We've worked with your plan on visits like yours in the past.
- ⚠️ It doesn't guarantee your specific plan or deductible structure will cover a virtual cardiology visit.
- ⚠️ Some plans require referrals or pre-authorization for specialty care, even when the practice is in-network.
- ⚠️ In-network status can change — payer contracts update over time. Verify with your specific plan.
How to confirm coverage for your specific plan
Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask whether a virtual cardiology consultation is covered. Helpful CPT codes to reference:
- New patient visit: CPT 99203, 99204, or 99205
- Follow-up visit: CPT 99213, 99214, or 99215
Or email us at clinic@deo-medical.com with your plan name and we'll check our recent claims history for plans similar to yours.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes — virtual cardiology consultations are qualified medical expenses under IRS rules. You can use your HSA or FSA card directly at booking for self-pay visits, or for any patient-responsibility balance after insurance processes the claim. Pre-tax payment effectively reduces your cost by 20-40% depending on your tax bracket.
Ready to book? Self-pay is always available at a flat rate ($199 new / $149 follow-up). Insurance patients put a card on file at booking; we bill insurance first and only charge the card for any patient-responsibility balance after the insurer processes the claim.
